Counting the offering on scrap paper and hoping the totals match the deposit?

This free printable gives your two counters one clear page for the whole count: each counter tallies the cash in their own column, the checks get listed one by one, the total is split by fund, and both counters sign. When the two tallies and the deposit agree, you know the count is right before the money leaves the building.

WHAT'S INCLUDED (1 PDF, 2 pages) • Page 1: the Sunday Offering Count Sheet, US Letter 1. Cash count: bills, loose coins and rolled coins, with a column for each counter 2. Checks: 20 numbered lines for name, check number and amount 3. Split by fund: General, Building, Missions, Benevolence and one you name, by cash, checks and online/card 4. Totals and differences: total cash, total checks, grand total, deposit amount and the difference 5. The 5-step count routine printed right on the sheet, plus signature lines for both counters and the deposit • Page 2: a short list of related templates from our shop

How it works 1. Print one sheet per service. 2. Two unrelated counters count the cash separately and fill in their own columns. If the totals don't agree, recount together. 3. List each check, split the total by fund, and fill in the totals box. 4. Both counters sign, and the sheet goes in the deposit bag or the treasurer's file.

Printable pdf, and a spreadsheet version if you want one This sheet is a PDF made to be printed and filled in by hand. If you'd like the count to do the math and flag errors, the Church Offering Count, Funds and Bank Rec Pack does it in Excel or Google Sheets, with a filled example to learn from:

What you'll see This is a blank sheet ready to print; there is no example data on it. The preview image shows the actual page.
